Bloom. Township Beats St. Charles North


Bloom. Township grabbed the lead during the first quarter and never looked back, beating the St. Charles North Stars 59-58 on Friday.

The Trojans separated themselves during the final two quarters of the game, after being tied at the half with the St. Charles North Stars at 28-28. Bloom. Township had a strong finish, adding 17 points in the final quarter.

Zerell Jackson maintained a blistering pace for Bloom. Township, scoring six points in the first quarter.
Jack Callaghan broke away to lead the St. Charles North Stars's offense with 17 points, including seven during the first quarter.

Also sinking shots for Bloom. Township were Jared Johnson (9 points), Jamal Parks (8), Mickhiell Harris (5), Davontae Henry (3), Dontrell Barnes (2), Mark Fulwiley (2) and Dalvin Echols (2).

Alec Goetz (16 points) and Jake Ludwig (14) all sunk multiple three-pointers. Also racking up points for the St. Charles North Stars were Tyler DeMoss (5 points), Camden Cotter (4) and Garret Johnson (2)
