The Chicago Simeon Wolverines Notch A Win Against The St. Charles North Stars In 3OT

Friday December 27,2013 will be known as the greatest basketball game ever played in Pontiac Holiday Tournament history. St. Charles North took the 6th ranked team in the nation to 3 over times, but would come up short at the end. Edward Morrow scored 31 points, helping the Chicago Simeon Wolverines notch an 82-74 victory over the St. Charles North Stars on Friday.

The Simeon Wolverines trailed early, 30-27 by the half, only to come back strong in the final two quarters. Simeon  scored an impressive 23 points in the final quarter, thanks largely to a 10-3 run. The Wolverines played aggressively throughout, accumulating 21 fouls over the course of the game. Both teams were aggressive on the field, with  Chicago Simeon picking up 21 fouls while the St. Charles North Stars had 26.

Notching 10 points in the first quarter, Morrow wasted no time sinking shots for the Chicago Simeon Wolverines .

Alec Goetz had the edge for the St. Charles North Stars's offense, scoring 36 points, including eight during the first quarter.

Also scoring for the Chicago Simeon Wolverines were Joshua Thomas (9 points), Evan Gilyard (8), Dennis Williams (6), Zachary Norvell (5), Isaiah Moss (3) and Donte Ingram (2).

Also racking up points for the St. Charles North Stars were Camden Cotter (4 points), Jack Callaghan (4), Garret Johnson (3), Johnny Davern (3) and Tyler DeMoss (3).
